Christopher Porter

Sidney Christopher "Chris" Porter, 40, a native of Meridian, Miss., and a resident of Gulf Shores, Ala., passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016.

Preceded in death by his father, Guy Howard.

Chris is survived by a son, Caleb Porter of Gulf Sores, Ala.; mother, Joyce Howard of Gulf Shores, Ala.; his father and stepmother, Sidney and Richelle Porter of Swartz Creek, MI; sister, Angela and her husband, Andy Whittington, of Godly, Texas; aunts, uncle, cousins other relatives and many close friends.

A Celebration of Chris's life will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, Meridian, Miss. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12-2 p.m.
