A memorial service for Chip Slayton will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Scott Wright officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Christopher “Chip” Slayton, 49, of Meridian passed away Friday, July 4, 2025.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Slayton; son, Campbell Slayton; parents, Tommy and Allison Slayton, Larry and Denise Philpott; siblings, Stacey Pollock (Britt), Lee Slayton, Rachel Hamilton (Grant), and Brian Philpott; nieces, Olivia Pollock, Anne Gianakos, and Ivey Creel; nephews, Collins Pollock, Jay Korsak, Case Creel, Lincoln Hamilton, and Theo Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Ann Royal and Carey and Kathleen Philpott; uncles, Kelly and Randy Royal; aunt, Connie Royal.
