Clarence P. Hooper Retired Mississippi Business Owner Services for Clarence P. Hooper will be held Monday at 10 A.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Reverends George Pugh, Dr. Bob Rambo, and Jim Wall officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery at House, MS. Mr. Hooper, 76, of Meridian died Friday, November 5, 2010. Mr. Hooper was founder and owner of Hooper Electronics for 50 years. He was a past Boy Scout Master, a Mason in the Hamasa Shrine. He attended Patchuta United Methodist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley of Meridian; his son Randy Hooper and his wife Mary, Meridian; his son Bentley Hooper, Pensacola, FL.; grandchildren, Brooks Hooper, Meridian; Olivia Reed and her husband John David Reed, Huntsville, AL; Daniel Hooper and his wife Allyson, Meridian; Thaddeus Hooper, Winter Park, CO; Henry Hooper, Oxford, MS; great-grandchildren David Reed and Charlie Hooper; brother, William Brooks Hooper, Philadelphia, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis B. Hooper, Philadelphia, MS. Pallbearers will be Brooks Hooper, Daniel Hooper, Thad Hooper, Henry Hooper, John David Reed, Thomas Murr, Don Tinsley, and William Burnham. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Owen, John Simon, Rudy Skinner, Banks Skinner, and James Kuykendall. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Shriner's Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
