Memorial services for Cody Ashton Brown will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. David DeWease officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Cody Ashton Brown, age 20, of Collinsville, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home.

Cody graduated from West Lauderdale High School in 2018.  For the last two years, Cody was an employee of CSI of Meridian.  Cody loved his family, friends, and co-workers and loved to make people laugh and smile.  He never met a stranger and had a contagious laugh that made everyone smile.  Cody loved his animals, Jadabug and Bella.

Cody is survived by his mother, Debra Garrett; his father, Aaron Brown; two sisters, Bree Garrett and Kayla Brown; grandparents, Jenny and C.A. (Peck) Brown, Onie Lee Brown, and Martha Quam; Uncle Jamie Brown (Melissa), Aunt Jan Harris, Uncle Mike Garrett (Kim), Uncle Allen Garrett (Sheri), Aunt Mary Biessenberge (Shawn); many cousins; and numerous close friends.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Judy Garrett, Willard Thead, Arnold Brown, George Quam; his Uncle Terry Garrett, Uncle Cliff Brown, and Aunt Phyllis Brown.

The family requests memorials be shared with any suicide awareness foundation of your choice or the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter.

The visitation will begin at 10:30 prior to the memorial service on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.

Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is operating at 50% capacity.  Facial masks and social distancing are required for admittance.
