Funeral services for Mr. Connie Mack Smith will begin at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Rusty Walton officiating. Interment will follow at Collinsville First Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Smith, 87, of Collinsville, died Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Connie Mack was a Building Contractor for over 40 years in Meridian and surrounding areas, building numerous homes. In his younger years, he was an accomplished athlete and especially loved basketball and baseball. His pride and joy was being “Grandaddy” to his nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; he loved to support each of them in all of their endeavors. A cowboy to his core, he was well-renowned for his ability to work and train horses. Later in life, Connie Mack enjoyed storytelling and enjoyed talking with anyone. He was a member of Collinsville First Baptist Church where he faithfully served as a Deacon.

Mr. Connie Mack is survived by his children, Jennifer Wagner (Ricky), Janet Goforth (Paul), Scott Smith (Lynn), and Beth Ann Ward (Barry). Grandchildren, Billy Mack Kinard (Mollie), Justin Kinard (Holly), Tucker Wagner, Hannah Smith (Dustin), Anna Wagner, Eli Ward, Edi Smith, Kase Ward, and Jackson Smith. Great-grandchildren, Kamryn Willoughby, Colt Kinard, Kate Kinard, Slade Kinard, Kinsley Jade Kinard, Sawyer Smith, and Sadie Smith. Sisters-in-law, Joyce Smith and Frances Drew; Brother-in-law, Donnie Tucker (Lena), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife of over 58 years, Beth Tucker Smith; his parents, Phil and Lola Smith; and his siblings, Lavelle Smith and Billy Harold Smith.

Pallbearers will be Billy Mack Kinard, Justin Kinard, Tucker Wagner, Eli Ward, Dustin Smith, Hal Smith, Pat Smith, and Greg Kinard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kase Ward, Colt Kinard, Slade Kinard, and Jackson Smith.
