Funeral services for Curtis Leon Thompson will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Thompson, age 61, of Toomsuba passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his home.

Curtis retired in January from Bimbo Bakeries after 37 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Thompson; children, Jimmy Thompson, Chandra Irby, and Thomas Thompson; step-child, Michael Kirk; grandchildren, Andrew Davidson, Blake Thompson, Amiliza Thompson, Lilly Thompson, Madilyn Thompson, Piper Thompson, Hayden Thompson, Sage Thompson, and Justin Kirk; sisters, Shirley Bowen (Gary) and Kay Mullins (Terry); brothers, James Thompson and William Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Lee McFarland; father, Dot Nelson Thompson; step-father, Malcolm McFarland; and brother, Larry Thompson.
