Memorial services for Ms. Cynthia Faye Ward will be held at 1:00PM, on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Briarwood Baptist Church with Bro. Brad Bakane officiating.

Cynthia Ward, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her residence. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sibling. She was a strong-willed fighter and never gave up. Cynthia had many close friends and family and was loved by so many. She never met a stranger and loved spending time with her family. Cynthia will forever be dearly missed.

Cynthia is survived by her three sons, Jonathan Powe (Raquel), Nathan Powe, and Sean Powe (Kristy); mother, Audria Faye Locke; 14 grandchildren; sister, Helen Welborn (Roger), and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Ms. Ward is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Ward; father, Grover Hamilton; brother, James Aubrey Hamilton; stepfather, Richard Locke, and grandmother, Lillie Ruth McDonald.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the nurses and staff of Baptist Anderson's Regional Hospital.
