D. G. "Buddy" Robinson Services for D. G. "Buddy" Robinson will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Chapel with Dr. John Temple and Rev. Glynn Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Robinson, 77 of Meridian died Monday, August 2, 2010 at Golden Living Center. Buddy was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired Police Officer with the Meridian Police Department after 27 years. He also was a past Secretary of the MS Private School Athletic Association. Survivors include his wife, Pattie Robinson of Meridian; daughter, Tammy Robertson and her husband David of Atlanta; sons, Reverend Glynn Robinson and his wife Melinda of Mandeville, LA, David Lingle and his wife Kristin of Kenner, LA; and ten grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Goodwin, Pete McGee, Jerry Stewart, Robert Coulter, Don Litchfield and Sam Gressett.
