Daisy Pearl Wheat

Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Pearl Wheat will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakland Baptist Church, with Brother Mark McDonald officiating. Burial will be held at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Wheat, age 92, went to be with her Heavenly Father May 16, 2018.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Mary Moorehead; husband, William (Jack) Wheat; two daughters, Ginger Parish and Shirley Wheat; daughter-in-law, Arnetti Wheat; son-in-law, Terry Wells; brothers, Theo, Billy and Buddy; and sisters, Martha, Martiel, and Ann.

She is survived by one brother, Henry (Maziel) Moorehead and sister-in-law, Velma Moorehead; her children, Louise Wells, Johnny Wheat, Kaye (Harvey) Wright, Richard (Freda) Wheat, Mark Wheat, David Wheat, Sydney Wheat, Brenda (Allan) DeVault, Dale Wheat, Bobby Wheat, and Lee Wheat; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
