Daniel "Dan" R. Mondella Graveside services for Daniel "Dan" R. Mondella will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Brother Allen Randall officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Mondella, age 76, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Chief Meteorologist at Key Field Weather Station for 25 years. He was a member of Briarwood Country Club and an avid golfer for many years. Survivors include his daughters, Jordan Worley of Lakeland, LA and Veronica Fontenau of Lake Charles, LA; stepchildren, Buddy Angle, Tony Bolin, Valerie Brandenburg, and Sheryl Angle; two sisters, Gail Socha of Windsor, CT and Audrey Henderson of Knoxville, TN; and best friend, Arnold Hodgins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Mondella; and stepson, David Angle. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
