Daniel "Dan" Ethan Sollie, I

Services for Daniel Sollie will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. John Temple officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Sollie, age 52, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Meridian.

Dan had a strong love for Meridian youth baseball, where he will be remembered as an enthusiastic coach (Coach Me) and manager for many years. He also loved and was an avid golfer. Dan will be remembered as a loving father and loved his son dearly.

Survivors include his son, Daniel Sollie, II, Colorado Springs, Co.; brother, William “Billy” D. Sollie (Diann), Meridian; nephew, Steven Sollie, Meridian; and niece, Caitlin S. Powell (Pate), Petal, MS.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, Evelin and Ethan Sollie.

Pallbearers will be Jack Combest, Chuck Butler, Richie Camp, Robbie Garrett, Ronnie Roberts and Andy Mayatt.
