Danny B. Shields

Funeral services for Danny B. Shields will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Rev. Sweeney officiating.  Burial will follow at Stenson Cemetery.

Danny B. Shields, age 70, passed away December 31, 2018 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

Danny was born November 20, 1948 to the late Robert and Johnnie Pearl Shields in Meridian.  Danny was a fun-loving, hard-working individual.  He enjoyed giving Bibles to those with whom he discussed scripture.  He was a long-time master control operator for WHTV Meridian (Channel 24) and WDAM-TV Pearl (Channel 7).

Danny is survived by his brother, Robert Shields; his niece, Kathy Williams; and a host of close cousins.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Johnny Shields.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with the Gideons or Ebenezer Ministries, P.O. Box 45, Bailey, MS 39320.

Visitation will be immediately prior to the funeral beginning at 1:30 p.m.
