Graveside services for Mr. Danny Wood will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, at 12:30 at Madden Cemetery in Madden, MS, with Dr. John Temple officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Danny Curtis Wood, age 68, of Meridian, MS passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Poplars Springs Nursing Center.

Danny’s two claims to fame are that he was an Eagle Scout and he played wingback for the University of Mississippi. He remained a loyal Ole Miss Fan his entire life. Danny graduated from Millsaps College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Mississippi Power in Jackson, MS. Danny attended Lifeway Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. Danny was a major supporter of several charities.

Danny is survived by his cousin June McGraw of Barnardsville, North Carolina. His close friends Jim and Charlotte Jones of Meridian, MS, and other caring friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Mary Katherine Wood and his brother Richard R. Wood.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10 AM at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
