Darla M. Higgins Services for Darla M. Higgins will be held Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Alex Biddles officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Higgins, 66, of Meridian died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Golden Living Center. She was a retired teacher from Strafford, New Hampshire. Mrs. Higgins was a former member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Rochester, New Hampshire. Survivors include her husband Robert Higgins of Meridian; son Stephen Higgins and wife Stephanie of Ridgeland, South Carolina; daughter Karen Biddles and husband Alex of Meridian, Mississippi; grandchildren Sara Higgins, Seth Higgins, Christa Biddles, Emma Biddles and Toby Biddles; brother Harold Holt of Barrington, New Hampshire, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Irene Garland Holt and sister Melicent Vanderheiden.
