There will be a visitation for David Batchelor, Sr. on Saturday, June 20, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. A graveside services will be held at a later date in Pensacola, Florida. Mr. Batchelor, 77, of Meridian, passed away June 15 at his residence. David retired from James Rivers after more than thirty years. He was an avid runner and received several medals from races. David loved being outdoors and loved meeting people. He had a witty personality and never met a stranger. He is survived by his children, Renee Batchelor (Ricky) Mauldin and David Batchelor, Jr.; grandchildren, Christina (Tucker) Creel, Rachel Wilkerson, Chelsey (Matthew) Castleberry, Lindsey Brewer, Spencer Brewer, Blake Mauldin, Caitlyn Batchelor, and Beau Batchelor; great-grandchildren, Brady Beard, Caroline Beard, and Chandler Castleberry; sisters, Maxine Cameron and Barbara Dunivan.
