A memorial service for David Culpepper will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Chunky Baptist Church with Brother Dale Moore officiating. Anyone who wishes to say a few words will have an opportunity to do so during the service. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
David Culpepper, age 61, of Meridian (Suqualena) passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
David was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He worked at Specialty Rolled Products Inc. for 40 years. He graduated from Meridian High School in 1971 and was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church. David was very artistic and enjoyed painting, carving, and wood working. He loved picking at others but his favorite thing to do was to be silly and spend time with his girls.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Norma Cooksey Culpepper; daughters, Davina Culpepper and Stephaine Gilbert and husband, Eric; sister, Susan Heblon; brothers, Jerry Culpepper and wife, Mary, Billy Culpepper and wife, Carrol, and Joseph Culpepper; brothers-in-law, Glenn Cooksey and wife, Marilyn and Wayne Cooksey and wife, Sue; and many nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Culpepper and Frances Calwell Culpepper; brother-in-law, Fredrick Heblon; father-in-law, Hubert Cooksey; and nephew, Tim Culpepper.
