David Murray Funeral service for David Murray will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Smith and Dr. Carl White officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Murray, 64, of Meridian passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at his home. He was an employee of Barefield Workplace Solutions. David was a veteran of the United States Navy and was an avid hunter and a member of the Ala-Miss Hunting Club. He is survived by his wife, Pat Murray of Meridian; sons, Jason Murray of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Justin Murray and wife, Melissa of Laurel; grandchildren, Lena, Alexis, Alli, Emma and Jack Murray; father, Emmett Murray and wife, Margaret of Meridian; brother, Benny Murray and wife, Starla of Meridian and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Murray and mother, Clara Murray. The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Ken McIntosh, Jack Shows, Bryan Shows, Houston Moore, Randy Hall, Kenny McKee, Kendall Smith and Irby Lang. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ala-Miss Hunting Club members.
