Graveside services for David Reed, Jr. will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 2:30 p.m. at Meridian Memorial Park with Terry Mayo officiating.

Mr. Reed, 74, of Meridian passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Rush Foundation Hospital.

David retired from Boilermaker Local 83 out of Kansas City, Missouri. He loved fishing and riding motorcycles with his buddies, but his greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren and watching them grow up. He was a beloved husband, father and Paw Paw and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Reed; sons, David Wayne Reed (Marcie) and Keith Allen Reed (Kyndle); grandchildren, Jenna Reed, Chloe Reed, Presley Reed, Britany Reed Amevor (Kwassi), Josh Reed, Ashley Reed, Ella Reed, Kyler Reed and Dawson Hand; and many nephews, nieces and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Reed; father, David Albert Reed, Sr.; mother, Sue Troutman; and step-father, Joe Troutman.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Wilson, Josh Wilson, Ray Burton, Gerald Maggard, T.J. Johnston and A.J. Napp.
