David C. Turner, I Services for David C. Turner, I, will be held Monday, February 24, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Lester Ray Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Old Salem Church Cemetery in Berry, Alabama at 2:00 p.m. on Monday following funeral services. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Turner, 48, of Bailey, Mississippi, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, at his home. He worked for Rock-Tenn for almost thirty years. Mr. Turner enjoyed racing and working on cars. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very talented and creative at drawing various landscapes and other things. He was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, uncle and friend. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Turner; son, David Turner, II; step-sons, Chad Smith and wife Tracey and Chris Smith and wife Stacy; six grandchildren; mother, Jewell Turner; sister, Shiela Shelton and husband Michael; brother, Chris Turner and wife Melissa; special great-nephew Austin Robinson and numerous other nieces and nephews.
