Dealia Jane Leonard

Funeral services for Mrs. Dealia Leonard will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Jones Chapel Church of God with Reverend Ron Leonard and Reverend Bill Widener officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Dealia Leonard, age 94, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Baptist Anderson Regional Center surrounded by her family. Dealia was born on May 14, 1930, to Edward and Ollie Suit.

Dealia met the love of her life, Ronald C. Leonard. They married in June of 1953 and had one child, Ron Leonard, Jr. They had loved one another for over 70 years and loved growing old together.

Dealia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family and her friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dealia had many talents such as sewing, but she was most known for her great cooking. She enjoyed cooking for others.

Dealia was so kind-hearted and will be dearly missed by so many.

Mrs. Dealia is survived by her son, Ron Leonard, Jr. (Judy); grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer Dooley (Colton), Ryan Leonard (Anna), and Janae Sisson (Jonathan), great-grandchildren, Cannon Dooley, Grayson Dooley, Harper Dooley, and Alys Kate Leonard, and brother, Robert Suit, as well as nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Leonard is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Leonard, Sr.; parents, Edward and Ollie Suit, and eleven siblings.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Leonard, Colton Dooley, Jonathan Sisson, Jack Rush, Jason Holliday, and Roger Hamburg.

In lieu of flower, the family request memorial donations be made to Jones Chapel Church of God.
