Deidra "Dea" Posey Dickerson

Memorial services for Mrs. Deidra “Dea” Posey Dickerson will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Billy Goodwin officiating.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Deidra “Dea” Posey Dickerson, age 62, of Collinsville passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Dea was born April 21, 1960 in Dumfries, Virginia to the late Louise and Wayne Posey.  She attended Meridian Community College and graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree.  Later in life, she also received a master’s degree in business administration from MSU.  Dea worked for many years at Bimbo Bakeries. Deidra enjoyed travelling, especially on Caribbean cruises with her sister, Linda.  Dea loved cooking for and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Dickerson is survived by her loving husband, Richard Dickerson; her step-son, Keith Dickerson (Kristy); her grandchildren, Spencer, Max, Lindsey, Connor, and Casey; and her sisters, Linda and Penny.

Dea was preceded in death by her step-son, Casey Dickerson; and her brother, Wayne.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:15 a.m. prior to the memorial service.
