Dennis "Chopper" Roberts

Memorial services for Mr. Dennis "Chopper" Roberts will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at The Episcopal Church of the Mediator with the Reverend Deacon Steve Owen officiating. Visitation will begin an hour prior to services at the church. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Dennis was a lifelong resident of Meridian, MS where he was a Conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 28 years. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He loved being Papa to his twin granddaughters.

Mr. Dennis Roberts, age 81, of Meridian, MS passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at his home.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Ann Roberts, daughter Deanna Moore (Chad), granddaughters; Ava and Olivia Moore, brothers; Ronald Roberts (Pegi) and Wayne Roberts (Maggie), sister; Daphne Jackson, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Myrtle Roberts.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to The Episcopal Church of the Mediator.
