DeWitt C. Warner Services for DeWitt C. Warner will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 2:30p.m. at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverends Danny Lanier and Dr. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Chunky Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Warner, age 95, of Meridian, died Saturday, September 25, 2010, at his residence. He was a member and Deacon at Northcrest Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of World War II, a member of I.B.E.W. local 917, where he was the oldest member. He was an electrical contractor for over 75 years. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Alyce Warner, of Meridian, his children, Sharon Dolezel and her husband Sonny, of Middleburg, Florida, Patricia Fisher and her husband Michael of Columbus, MS, Bruce L. Warner and his wife Betty, of Lauderdale, MS, and a sister in law, Ruth Warner, of Kent, Ohio. He was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Bruce L. Warner II, and a brother, Ernest Warner. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of his Sunday School Class. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00-8:00p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
