Graveside services for Diana Coleman Lafferty will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Gilbert Prince officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lafferty, age 73, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was an active member of Marion United Methodist Church.
Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, reading, cooking, antique cars, and watching westerns. Diana was an extremely caring person, if her love was contained in a bucket, it would have no bottom.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Diana Barham (Gilbert) of Madden, MS; two sons, Jimmie Coleman of Meridian and Jackie L. Coleman (Missy) of Meridian; two step-daughters, Cathy Beach of Gulfport, MS, Christi Lisenby of Andalusia, AL; nine grandchildren, Casey and Codee Russell, Paul Dutton (Melissa), Candace and Cayla Coleman, Alex Coleman, Russell Beach, Brandon Stephens, and Kyle Stephens; four great-grandchildren, Jaxon Coleman, Maddox Bryan, Madison Coleman, and Ryan Stephens; brother, Sonny Sodoma (Billie Jo); sister, Barbara Carney; sister-in-law, Dean Abston (Tony); brothers-in-law, John Lafferty (Darlene) and C.J. Lafferty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Robin D. Boswell; and husbands, James Leroy Coleman and James W. Lafferty.
Pallbearers will be Harlan Davis, William Harper, Steve Sodoma, Michael Sodoma, James Carney, and Bob Carney.
Honorary pallbearer will be Wayne Ainsworth.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with procession to follow for the graveside service.
