Don Michael "Mike" Partridge

Funeral services for Don Michael “Mike” Partridge will begin at 2:30 PM Monday, November 25, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Davey Wilkinson and Mr. Tony McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Partridge, 67, of Meridian, died Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born and raised in Meridian, MS and from an early age had a love for people. He began working as a Disk Jockey at Q101 at the age of 15 with his father, Don “Quail” Partridge, in the  Radio Business. He went on to be Assistant Manager of the Radio Station and He continued working in radio for over 10 years. Following his career in the Radio Business Mike found another passion in The Restaurant Industry. He purchased The Rustler in 1990 and owned and operated it creating a Fine Dining Experience for over 34 years. Mike’s employees and patrons became his close friends and extended family. He will be deeply missed by all who entered his restaurant. In addition to his work, Mike has a deep and profound passion in his children, grandchildren, and family. His grandchildren lovingly call him “Papa” which was his favorite title of all.

Mike is survived by his children, Semmes Martin (Malcolm) and Hailey Partridge; grandchildren, Hayden Michael Martin, Ridge McDonald Martin, and Baby Boy Martin, on the way. His siblings, Deborah McDaniel (Tony), Jana Sanders, and Susan Sheppard (Bobby); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mr. Partridge is preceded in death by his parents, Don “Quail” Partridge and Betty Wagner Partridge.

The Partridge Family suggests memorials be made as donations to the American Heart Association/Mississippi, 4830 McWillie Circle, Jackson, MS 39206 in lieu of flowers.
