Donald "Bruce" Griffin Funeral services for Donald "Bruce" Griffin will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Griffin, age 64, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Griffin was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a deacon at Carmel Baptist Church and worked at Wal-Mart for 17 years. Bruce was an avid Mississippi State fan and enjoyed working in his garden. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Survivors include his wife, Angela Griffin; children, Daniel Griffin and wife, Aimie, Stephen Griffin and wife, Eliana, Jennifer Griffin, Brooke Thornton and husband, Derek, Chase Pearson and wife, Emily, Chelsea Hollingsworth and husband, John, and his baby girl, Brianna Griffin; grandchildren, Devin Griffin, Dalton Griffin, Dakota Brassfield, Dylan Griffin, Pearson Hollingsworth, Jaden Hollingsworth, Libby Hollingsworth, Charlie Pearson, Kaylynn Pearson, and Micah Bruce Griffin; siblings, Sidney Griffin and wife, Beth, Judy Smith and husband, Jeff, Arnold Griffin and wife, Sharon, Janice Murphy and husband, Don, and Teresa Schuler and husband, Jerry; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Alton Lee Griffin and Annie Pauline Griffin. The family request memorials be made to Carmel Baptist Church.
