Donald "Don" Mangum Services for Donald "Don" Mangum will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Tim Adams and Ronnie Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Mangum, 49 of Meridian, died June 10, 2010 at his residence. He was self-employed as a painting contractor. Mr. Mangum attended Energy Church and grew up attending Highland Baptist Church. Mr. Mangum raised his children to be strong individuals and to stand up for what they believe. He will be remembered for going above and beyond to always help others. Mr. Mangum fought a hard battle and is now resting with the Lord. Survivors include his wife, Donna Wheeler Mangum of Meridian; sons, Reverend Greg Mangum of Meridian and Dr. Justin Qualls of Jackson, MS; daughter, Courtney Mangum of Meridian; parents, Wayne and Juanita Mangum of Meridian; sister, Cindy Varnado and her husband, Scott of Walker, LA; father-in-law, Willie Wheeler of Meridian; mother-in-law, Maxine Castle of Meridian; nephew, David Wheeler of Hanceville, AL, niece Claire Varnado of Walker, LA; brother-in-law, Danny Wheeler and his wife, Julie of Hanceville, AL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lowery and Belle Mangum and Thurman and Ollie King. Pallbearers will be Steve Clay, Danny Wheeler, David Wheeler, Scott Varnado, Terry Waddell, and Terry Crenshaw. Family and friends may sign online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
