Donie Jean Wedgeworth Funeral services for Donie Jean Wedgeworth will be held Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Will Dowling officiating. Burial will be in Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Wedgeworth, age 86, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Christa House in Meridian. Mrs. Wedgeworth was a homemaker and a member of Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, Glynn R. Wedgeworth, Sr. and wife, Rita and Donald Wedgworth and wife, Debbie all of Meridian; grandchildren, Glynn Wedgeworth, Jr. and wife, Karen, and Randy Wedgeworth all of Meridian and Brandon Wedgeworth (Kimberly) of Alabaster, Alabama; great-grandchildren, Josh Wedgeworth (Amber), Bradley Wedgeworth and Houston Wedgeworth; great-great-grandchild, Calli Wedgeworth; brother-in-law, Dan Lewis Wedgeworth of Flomaton, Alabama; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, Willie Ray Wedgeworth; parents, Lee and Eunice White; one brother; and one sister. The family would like to thank Dr. Harry Dayton for his many years of caring for Donie. The family request memorials be made to Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
