Donnelle Murphy Brown Funeral services for Donnelle Murphy Brown will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jody Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery. Mrs. Brown, 90, of Lauderdale, MS, died at Aldersgate in Meridian on Thursday, August 20, 2015. She is survived by son H. Calvin Brown, Jr. (Dell) of Toomsuba, MS, daughter Susan Brown Chance (Joe) of Lauderdale, MS, grandson Paul Chance (fiancée Jennifer) of Springfield, VA, grandson Blake Chance of Jackson, MS, granddaughter Dana Chance Miller (Colten) of Birmingham, AL, granddaughter Tracy Smith (Michael) and children Dylan and Jordyn of Lauderdale, MS, niece Adele Avara Whitlock of Meridian, MS, nephew, Ben Avara of Meridian, MS, niece Liz Green Ray of Brandon, MS, nephew Grady Green (Michelle) of Puckett, MS, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Brown, her father Louis Murphy, her mother Betra Heflin Murphy Green, her sister Doris Murphy Avara, her brother Thomas Green, and her niece Shiela Green Porteau. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, from 9:00 a.m. until time for services at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
