Dora Ellen L. Hatcher Graveside services for Dora Hatcher will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at Enondale Presbyterian Cemetery in Enondale, Mississippi. Matthew Pagels will officiate, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Hatcher, 95, of Meridian, passed away August 28 at Andersons. Dora resided at Aldersgate for over twenty years, and was a resident of Poplar Springs Nursing Center. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who made many sacrifices for her family. Dora loved people and was loved by her many friends and family. She was an artist and always had a sewing or crocheting project she was working on. Dora loved to read, in particular, the Bible and books about history. Dora is survived by her children, Joseph Michael "Mike" (Susan) Hatcher, Barbara Jean (Sonny) Miller, Jo Ellen (Jack) Martin, William Calvin"Bill" (Jeri) Hatcher, and Lee Ann (Charlie) Poynter; seventy grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry "Buddy" Hatcher; grandson, Randall Corey Steil; sister, Carrie Galanes. Pallbearers will be Kevin Hatcher, Lucas Hatcher, Matthew Pagels, Charlie Poynter, Randy Robinson, Robert Pagels, and Jason Alexander.
