Doree Dearman Irby

Celebration of Life services for Doree Irby will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Evangel Temple, with Pastor Mike Boles officiating. Burial will be at Energy Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Doree Dearman Irby, age 86 of Meridian passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Regency Hospital of Meridian.

Doree’s first love was worshiping and serving the Lord Jesus Christ! She loved her family and church family passionately and working in her yard brought her much joy and pleasure. Her legacy will be, being called “Granny”, not only to her family but the entire community.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Irby (Candy), Craig Irby (Lynn), and Suzanne Irby Raley (Scott); grandchildren, Ashley Irby, Corey Irby (Maggie), Travis Raley (Stephanie), Kirby Irby (Susan), Kara Irby Moulds (Jarrod), and McKenzie Raley; great-granchildren, Payton Ingram, Abby Shirley, Camille Irby, Shephard Irby, Silas Irby, and Henry Irby; sisters, Nora Lee Irby and Hilda Davidson (Robert Earl); numerous nieces and nephews.

Doree was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Irby; and her parents, Harvey and Carrie Dearman.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
