Doris Mae Beaver Graveside Services for Doris Mae Beaver will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Doris Mae Beaver passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at James T. Champion Nursing Home. She was and a lifetime resident of Meridian and a longtime Wal-Mart employee as the door greeter. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth "Bookie" Ann Thomas, Clyde Marie Franklin, Debbie Mae Drozd, and Clyde Melvin Beaver Jr and spouses; grandchildren, Jerry Lynn Rawson Jr, Christopher Thomas, Jacquelyn Michelle Folmsbee, Lisa Ann Thomas, Carson Beaver, Gavin Beaver; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny, Tommie, Alton, Murray, Arnold, James "Jimbo", Finney, and Bobby Smith; and her sister, Bessie Calhoun. She will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her longtime husband of 49 years Clyde "Junkman" Beaver Sr. The family request in lieu of flowers please makes donations to the nursing home or the Cancer Society.
