Funeral services for Doris Klutz will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00am at St Patrick Church, with Father Sanchez officiating. Burial will be at St Patrick Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Klutz, age 85, of Meridian passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Rush Hospital.
Doris was born and baptized on November 3, 1932. She received a bachelors from John Paul Institute in Theology. She was a secretary at White Sands Missile range and was a teacher at Saint Thomas Moore and Saint Luke’s in Texas and Fort Bliss Defense Language Institute. She also served as Scheduler Manager at the Dominican Priory in Dallas where she managed several priests. She served many years as the secretary at Saint Luke’s Church in Irving, Texas. She loved to travel and was always the life of the party. If you ever met her, then you loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Dewayne Klutz; daughters, Lori Francis, Hurt, VA, and Janis Humpries, Allen, TX; son, David (Sandra) Klutz, Meridian, MS; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loring Divoll and infant daughter, Marie Divoll, and her parents Wilfred and Imelda La Plante.
Pallbearers will be The Knights of Columbus.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 5:00-7:00pm. A Rosary service will be held at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
