Doris Hooks Smith Services for Doris Hooks Smith will be Thursday, October 4, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Leon Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Smith, 79, of Bailey died Monday, October 1, 2012, at her residence. She was retired, liked to bowl, travel, read and garden. Mrs. Smith was a member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church and was President of The Ernest Worker's Circle of King Daughters and Sons International. She served as Chairman of The Autism Committee and was also a member of TEAAM (Together Enhancing Autism Awareness in Mississippi). Survivors include her daughters Lynn Blackmon, Hernando, Mississippi, Mitzie Massey of Goose Creek, South Carolina, and Alesia Fisher and husband Timothy of Meridian, Mississippi; seven grandchildren Gina Brooks, Billy Blackmon, Brittany Todd, Hallie Massey, Ashlan Fisher, Critter Fisher and Sam Fisher; eight great-grandchildren; brother James Hooks of Mesquite, Texas; niece Virginia Golden, and nephews Paul Hooks and Jimmy Hooks. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy B. Smith and her parents Sam and Mamie Sanderford Hooks. In lieu of flowers Mrs. Smith requested donations be made to TEAAM, P. O.
