Dorothy "Dot" Jane Lundy Trest

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Lundy Trest will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother Medrick Savell officiating. Burial will be at Broomfield Cemetery in Neshoba County at 2:00 p.m. with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Trest, age 84, of Lauderdale, Mississippi passed away April 25, 2017 at Fisher Care Home.

Dot retired after 32 years from East Mississippi Electric Power. She was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church in Neshoba County. Mrs. Trest participated in VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Gorver Barnette Order of Easter Star, and was a member and past president of Meridian First Ladies Civitan Club.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Darlene Harrison, son-in-law John Harrison of Lauderdale, MS; son, Jonathan Walker Trest, daughter-in-law Kathy Trest of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Casey East Trest, Jana Trest Harrison; and great grandson, Jorden Morris Harrison.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Herman Trest, parents, two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 28 from 5:30 till 7:30 p.m. at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
