Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae Keeton Gordon will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Enondale Cemetery on Saturday, November 5, 2022, with the Reverend Jack Kern officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Gordon, age 92, of the Enondale Community passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at her residence.
Survivors include her children, Lena McRae, Gladys Cook (A.J.), R.G. Keeton, Jr. (Cathye), Jerry Keeton (Connie), and Lynn Puckett; grandchildren, Robin Harrison, Katherine Crimm (Roger), Chris Swearingen, Allayne Hall Scoggin (Cliff), Margie Smith (Charlie), Jabe Burnett (Raven), Robby McElroy (Angela), Wilton Cook, Amy Pittman (Shane), and Christy Thigpen (Chris); great-grandchildren, Allen Black (Veronica), April Bateman (Andrew), Jade Swearingen, John Black (Nycole), Melanie Warren, River Swearingen, Haylee Hannah (Adam), Cody Fuller (Whitney), Zane Swearingen, Jordan Hall, Erica Leon (Marc), Grace Hall, McKayla Williams, Phillip McElroy, Christopher Thigpen, Dannielle Wolfe, Samantha Thigpen, and Lacie Everson (Conner); great great-grandchildren, Adelyn Everson, Hunter Fuller, Neil Bateman, Ethan Black , Olivia Black, Cloe Black, Madi Black, Addy Hannah, and Parker Hannah; siblings, Catherine “Sis” Long, Clark Hatcher (Dee), Peggy Barnacastle (Curtis), and Richard W. “Ricky” Hatcher (Jeri); her special friend, Addie Moore; and numerous other family members and friends.
Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert G. Keeton, Sr. and Wallace Gordon; her granddaughter, Rachel Keeton; her great-granddaughter, Shyanne Schmick; her parents, Samuel C. Hatcher, Sr. and Eva Knight Hatcher; her siblings, Samuel C. “Junior” Hatcher, Jr., Arthur “Buck” Hatcher, Joseph Henry “Buddy” Hatcher, Juanita Patton, Eulena Smith, Verna Lee Hatcher, and Lucille Hopper.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Gordon be made to the Enondale Cemetery Fund c/o Jerry Keeton (8131 Highway 45, Porterville, Mississippi 39352).
