Dorothy Ree Allen Gough

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Gough will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Rev. Virgil Walters officiating. Burial will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Gough, age 94, of Collinsville passed away on October 30, 2019 at her residence.

Dorothy was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she served in various capacities, including church pianist and organist and as a Sunday school teacher. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 72 and ½ years, Ransom K. Gough; children, Carol Gough, and Lisa Rickles; granddaughter, Amanda Richardson (Robby); great-granddaughter, Loraina Ree Richardson; two sisters, Lynne Duett and Marjorie Thrash; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iulus and Bonnie Ree Huffmaster Allen and two brothers, Julius and Howard Allen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
