Dorothy Elaine Picardi

A funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Elaine Picardi will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Mr. Keith Guy officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Dorothy Elaine Picardi, age 86, of Kittanning, PA, passed away at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Dorothy was known for her love of bowling and playing pool, often proving to be a formidable opponent in any game. An avid camper, she cherished time spent outdoors with her family. Her holiday meals were legendary-prepared with such generosity that they could easily feed the entire Clayhole community, not just her immediate family. Warm and welcoming, she had a gift for making everyone feel like family. Her kindness extended to all she met, often greeting new faces with a hug and an open invitation to join in family gatherings. She was a devoted grandmother who never missed a single event, no matter the time or place. Her unwavering presence and support will be deeply missed. Dorothy's son, Mike, said "God only put so many angels on this earth to be with us and Mom was definitely one that will be hard to replace."

Mrs. Picardi is survived by her sons, Dennis Michael Picardi (Dorie), Peter James Picardi, Jr., and Johnny Albert Picardi; her grandchildren, Brandi Adams, Beth Picardi Miller (David), Gretchen Picardi Kutch (Matthew), Michael Mechling (Ashley), Christopher Mechling, and Sebastian Picardi (Christine); her great-grandkids, Miken, Hayleigh, Miles, Brittney, Ethan, Alaina, Maizee, Monroe, and Skylar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter James Picardi, Sr.; her daughters, Teri Jean Picardi and Jeri Lynn Picardi Brink (Bill); and her parents, James Webster Goodin and Dorothy Elizabeth Goodin.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10:00 until 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service in the chapel.
