Dorothy Dean Reece Funeral service for Dorothy Dean Reece will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Albert Espey officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Mrs. Reece, 87, of Meridian passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at Highland Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Mrs. Reece retired from the City of Meridian Water Department after more than thirty-one years of service. She was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Larry Reece and wife, Cathie of Madison; grandchildren, Kimberly Rockwell and husband, Matt of Madison, Jennifer Widen and husband Patrick of Hattiesburg and Matthew Reece and wife, Katie of Madison; great-grandchildren, Olen, Amelia Reece, Colton, Cade, and Charlie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Reece, son, Randy Reece and parents, Armestist and Ruby Rogers. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association, 196 Charmant Drive, Suite 4, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
