Dorothy Dearman Roberson Services for Dorothy Dearman Roberson will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Ray Welcher and Reverend Paul Queen officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Church Cemetery in Quitman with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Roberson, 85, of the Whynot Community died Monday, May 21, 2012 at Golden Living Nursing Center. She was a member of Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church. Mrs. Roberson worked as a seamstress for many years and later retired from Peavey's. She loved to fish and garden. Survivors include her son Thomas Lamar Roberson of Whynot, daughter Gloria Dale Williams of Franklin, Tennessee, grandchildren Regina VanSchaack and husband Andrew of Brentwood, Tennessee, Rebecca Roberson of Whynot and Tom Roberson of Scooba, four great grandchildren Mia Grace Crowson, John Van Schaak, Emily VanSchaak and Cole Bullocks, brother Mallie Junior Dearman of Quitman and sister Flossie Robinson of Meridian. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse Mallie and Cornelia Flowers Dearman, brothers Clayborn, Namon and Franklin Dearman, sister Lucy Tims, Kizzie Thompson, Willie Blanche Rexford, Edna Ruth Reynolds, and Lossie Martin. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Price, Jimmy Ray Martin, Jimmy Roberson, Jerry Dale Dearman, J.C. Dearman and Larry Roberson. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.
