A graveside service for Earnest Nell Seymour Lewis was held Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, officiated by Rev. Gary Morris. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Earnest Nell Seymour Lewis was born October 2, 1949, to Bernice Cotton Seymour and the late Henry James Seymour. Nell was the oldest of five children.
As a teenager, she married the late Russell Edward Williams and later in life married the late Robert Lee Lewis.
Nell accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age; and continued a lifelong service of Christian love, faith, and charity... not just to the church but also to the many lives and families of those who graciously allowed her to care for their loved ones.
This allowed Nell to extend her family exponentially not just with her own children, but with additional "sons" and "daughters", and as adopted "aunt", friend, or "G.G." This unconditional love continued until she was called home.
Nell was preceded in death by three siblings and two husbands. She is survived by her mother, Bernice Stewart, her sister Dorothy Mullins, brother Robert Mosley, three biological children, Rosalyn Dentino, Kendrick Williams, Roderick Lewis and their spouses; five grandchildren: Aliyah K. Anderson, Kennedy F. Williams, Isabella M. Raesly, Evan L. Lewis, Grayson K. Lewis; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; four step daughters, Robin Perkins, Casandra Lewis, Mattie May, Yolanda May, plus her extended children; Patty Brown, Peggy Usher, Penni Price, Ricky Price, Randy Price and Ronny Price along with their extended family.
