E.B. Edward Barksdale Crawford Iii

Edward Barksdale "E.B." Crawford III, age 82, of the Dalewood Community passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, at his home.

E.B. was a one of the first original residents of Dalewood Shores Lake, and was a fixture of the Lauderdale Community. He was involved with the volunteer fire department, the voting booths, and Lauderdale Presbyterian Church. E.B. also owned a consumer electronics business for 35 years in Lauderdale. Gardening was one of his favorite hobbies until his health declined. Everyone that knew him loved him because he loved people.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Margaret Crawford; children, Glenn Harshman (Marianela) of Cullman, AL, and Jennifer Warfel (Scott) of Brandon, MS, grandchildren, Miles Warfel, Briana Harshman and Matthew Warfel; brother-in-law Walter Donald Beeman of Iowa Park, TX, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved Great Dane, Raven.

E.B. was preceded in death by his parents, Edward "Ed" B. Crawford Jr. and Louise Underwood Crawford, and brother-in-law, Glenn Michael Beeman.
