Chatt McGonagill

Chatt McGonagill died November 13, 2025. 

Chatt will be remembered for the many years he served as a Naval Officer. He was a highly decorated Naval Aviator serving during Vietnam and Korea. Among his many duties, spending many years in San Diego, he was also administrating officer at Meridian Naval Air Station. Upon his retirement, he continued his commute to the Navy base working as a ground flight instructor on simulators. He spent most of his later years enjoying his home in the state of Mississippi where he was born and raised.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Harriet McGonagill. Chatt is survived by their three children, Brian, Karen and Lori, as well as, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. 

Services will be in the Spring.
