Eddie L. Jones

Graveside service for Eddie L. Jones will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Coker’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Bro. Ray Allen, Bro. David Keller, and Bro. Dennis Lewellyn officiating, burial to follow. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Eddie was a devoted Christian and faithful member at Coker’s Chapel United Methodist Church until his health no longer allowed him to attend. He retired from Georgia Pacific after over 30 years of service. He was a former Marine and former member of the Hamasa Shriners. He was a loving husband, father, Papaw and friend to his family and all that knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years Cheryl Parten Jones; daughters, Cheryl Santillano and Lisa Bolen; grandchildren, Brandon Booker (Haley), Anna Santillano, Justin Hinson, Sierra Maxwell (Tyler), and Haley Rippie (Adam); great-grandchildren, Brody and Margaret Booker, Harper Overstreet, Kohen Hinson, Khloe, Ethan, and Jasper Maxwell, AllyCole Hinson, and Amberlie Coleman; siblings, Johnnie Wilkerson and Ann Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Allen and Annie Mae Havard Jones; brother, Larry Jones.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Booker, Justin Hinson, Tyler Maxwell, David Johnson, William Parten, and Bill Davenport.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Coker’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
