Graveside services for Eddie Shinn will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Malcolm Tidwell officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Shinn, age 77, of Meridian, beloved husband, father, friend passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Jane. Son, Billy Shinn and wife Joyce, daughters; Gail Humble and husband Lee. Susan Combs and husband Joey. He has 5 grandchildren Kevin Gordon, Tina Vining, Mindy McBride, Jamie Dean, Michael Shinn. He is blessed with 9 great-grandchildren, Kevin Gordon, Jr. Daniel Combs, Heather Pitts, Rebecca Vining, Noah Gordon, Logan Dean, Cason Dean, Jase McBride, Landon Shinn.

He was preceded in death by parents, Wallace and Edna Shinn. Three brothers, Wayne Shinn, Don Shinn and Billy Shinn respectfully.

Mr. Shinn made of a career in sales that earned him the respect of all that worked with him. He retired from Little Debbie after 25 years where he earned numerous awards as district manager of the year.

Mr. Shinn enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, friends and making people laugh. He is remembered for his compassion, wisdom and embracing hugs.

Pallbearers will be Billy Shinn, Joey Combs, Michael Shinn, Kevin Gordon, Cory Vining, and Phillip Dean.
