Edmund J. Hartman Services for Edmund J. Hartman will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Hartman, 76, of Collinsville formerly of Melville, New York, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was born and grew up in New York City. Prior to going into the insurance business he worked in the computer industry and later retired from Rollins, Burdick and Hunter as an Insurance Executive. After his retirement he and his wife Adelaide traveled the world. Mr. Hartman was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters Joan Hartman Albert of Collinsville, and Carole Hartman of Cherry Hill, N.J., two granddaughters Rita and Rose Albert of Collinsville, a brother Walter Hartman and his wife Joan of York, PA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Adelaide Staudt Hartman, their daughter Patricia Hartman, and his parents Frank and Hilda Hartman of Englewood, N.J. Pallbearers will be A. J. Province, Pete Willis, Josh McPherson and Tripp Ward The family request that memorials be made to St. Patrick Catholic School.
