Mrs. Edna Whitenton Clark Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Whitenton Clark will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jack Kern officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Clark, age 92, of Meridian passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Andersons Regional Medical Center of Meridian. Mrs. Clark was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church. She worked as an Assistant Manager for Lerner's Dress Shop and later retired from People's Bank. She will be remembered for her deep love of family and their deep love for her. She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Poplar Springs Nursing Center where she fell in love with the staff. She was a spunky and upbeat person who will be remembered for her witty personality. Mrs. Edna is survived by her son, Larry Clark and wife Diane, her daughter, Kaye Hagwood and husband Bennie, grand-children Candi Hamilton (Jon), Daphne McBride (Dave), Stacy Barr, Kevin Clark (Laura), Kyle Clark (Megan), and Brandon Barr (Jill). Great-grandchildren Patrick Jones (Erin), Randi Rogers (Jamie), Shanna Bufkin (Jay), Whitney Gressett, Bo Gressett (Jordan), Aidan Barr, Hunter Clark, Avery Clark, and Olivia Clark, Jamie Hamilton, JonJon Hamilton and Jorey Hamilton, 6 Great-great grandchildren and special nieces, Sharon Williams (Rusty) and Mary Edna Goodin (Homer). Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Clark, brother, Lamar Whitenton, and parents Luther and Velma Anderson Whitenton. The family request memorials be made to the food pantry at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Harry Robinson, Kevin Clark, Hunter Clark, Bo Gressett, Jay Bufkin and Jamie Rogers.
