Funeral services for Edna Snowden LaShane will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Hunt and Reverend Don Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. LaShane, 72, of Meridian passed away on Friday, May 02, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Edna worked for forty-five years with WTOK TV and was their longest tenured employee. She worked in the traffic and programming department as a sales assistant. The station and her family were her passions and everyone she worked with she considered her family. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Danny W. LaShane of Meridian; grandson, Jason D. LaShane of Meridian; sister, Agnes Snowden Skelton and husband Larry of Brandon, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Bertie Snowden of Hattiesburg and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Odell and Eva Snowden and her brother, Alton C. Snowden.

Pallbearers will be Tim Walker, Jim Briggs, John Johnson, Wayne Skelton, Charles Skelton, Ronnie Williams, Jordan Skelton, Kevin Alawine and Bud Williams.
