Edna Loving Rouse

Funeral services for Edna Loving Rouse will be held Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Roy Dabbs and Reverend Albert McMullen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Rouse, age 89, of Meridian passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Edna was an active and lifelong member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired from Puckett Machinery. Following the example of Christ, she had a servant’s heart and was always putting others needs ahead of her own.

She is survived by her sons, Bill Moffett (Marlene) and Michael Moffett; grandchildren, Jon Moffett (Amy), Cory Moffett (Kim), Adina Griffith (John), Tina Fulcher (Randy), and Amy Jones; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Bob Jones; sister-in-law, Dorothy Jones Easom; step-children, Bill Rouse Jr. (Nancy), Nell Mathis, and Melissa O’Flynn; former daughter-in-law, Sharon Westbrook; step daughter-in-law, Donna Rouse; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Rouse; parents, Henry and Earlene Jones; brothers, Shannon Jones, Pat Jones, and Henry Lee Jones; and sister, Sarah Lou Jones.

Pallbearers will be Jon Moffett, Cory Moffett, Kenny Jones, Danny Jones, Ben Jones, Bart Jones, Bill Rouse Jr., and Jeff Tate.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Goffier, Billy Ray Mathis, John Griffith, Randy Fulcher, Harvey Smith, and Chris Peden.
