Edna Stott Funeral services for Edna Stott will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stott passed away Monday, October 13, 2014, in Alpharetta, Ga. She was born on June 22, 1927, in Broadway, NC, grew up in Sanford, NC, and attended college in Raleigh. Met the love of her life, Herbert Lee Stott, on Groundhog Day, February 2, 1950 and was married fifty-six happy years. After graduation, she worked as a bookkeeper for many years until the birth of a third child. She had homes in many states, lived two and a half years in England, thirty years in Meridian, Ms (since 1976). She enjoyed playing bridge with many friends over the years, and was a member of the Pilgrim Class at First Baptist Church. She is survived by her three children, daughter LeeAnn Doyle and sons, Reid and Brett Stott, and her granddaughter, Caroli Doyle.
